Big Chief Wholesale: Stock Real Product
Counterfeits do not just burn customers, they burn the shops that unknowingly stock them. Our wholesale lots come straight from verified Big Chief supply, sealed and batch matched, so everything on your shelf passes the same authentication check a cautious customer will run at the counter. Volume pricing applies across carts, disposables and pre roll packs. For larger volumes or a standing weekly order, reach out through the contact page with your quantities. We answer fast, ship discreetly and never split a sealed master case with mixed stock.

Who this section is for
This collection is for buyers purchasing at volume rather than for personal use: licensed retailers, delivery services and lounges stocking a shelf. If you are buying one or two units for yourself, the standard cartridge and all in one collections are where you want to be, and the pricing there reflects single unit purchase.
Volume terms, minimum order quantities and lead times are not published on this page because they vary by product, quantity and destination. Contact us through the contact page with what you are looking to move and we will give you specifics rather than a range.
What is available at volume
Five lines sit in this collection: the 3 gram THCA disposable, the 2 gram disposable, the Melted Diamonds THCA disposable in 2 gram, the 2 gram Melted Diamonds disposable, and the 1 gram premium cartridges.
These are the lines that move fastest at retail, which is why they are the ones offered at volume. The 1 gram cartridges have the broadest strain choice and suit a shop wanting variety on a shelf. The 2 gram disposables carry a higher unit price and need no accompanying battery sale, which suits delivery services and anywhere the customer wants something that works immediately.
Why sourcing matters more at volume
Counterfeit product is the defining problem in this category, and it becomes a business risk rather than a personal disappointment once you are buying at volume. A retailer who unknowingly stocks counterfeit cartridges is the one facing the customer complaints, the returns and the reputational damage, not the supplier who sold them on.
The economics are what make this so common: a counterfeit unit costs a fraction of a genuine one to produce, so there is always someone able to quote a price that looks impossible. If a wholesale quote is dramatically below the market, that is information about what is in the box rather than a negotiating win.
Every unit we supply can be verified. Run any sample through the verification checker before committing to a larger order, and read the counterfeit guide so your staff can identify a fake on sight.
Documentation you should expect
At volume you should be asking for more paperwork than a retail customer would. A batch specific certificate of analysis is the minimum, and it should cover potency alongside residual solvents, pesticides and heavy metals rather than potency alone.
Ask for the batch code on the COA to match the batch code on the units you receive. A generic report that is not tied to your specific batch tells you very little. Our lab results page explains what each panel covers and how to read it, and batch documentation is provided on request for wholesale orders.
For the regulatory background your own compliance will need to account for, the FDA consumer update on vaping and THC and the CDC e cigarette resource are the two standard references.
Choosing what to stock
| Line | Strengths at retail | Consider if |
|---|---|---|
| 1g cartridges | Widest strain choice, lowest unit price | Your customers already own batteries |
| 2g disposables | No battery needed, higher unit value | You want a single item that works out of the box |
| 2g Melted Diamonds | Premium positioning, higher potency | You have experienced repeat customers |
| 3g THCA disposable | Longest lasting single unit | Customers prioritise value per gram |
A common mistake is stocking exclusively at the premium end. The 1 gram cartridges are what bring people in and what they buy repeatedly; the diamonds lines are what they graduate to. Carrying both, plus batteries to pair with the cartridges, covers more of the floor than a single tier does.
Your own compliance obligations
Cannabis retail rules differ by state and in some cases by county, and they change. What you may lawfully stock, how you must label it, who you may sell it to and what records you must keep are matters for your own licensing authority and your own legal advice.
Nothing on this page is legal advice. Confirm your position before ordering, not after. All products supplied here are for adults aged 21 and over.
Getting a quote
Send us the lines you are interested in, rough quantities and your destination through the contact page. If you would like to assess quality first, order a small quantity at retail from the main shop and verify it before scaling up. That is the approach we would recommend to anyone, and it is the one most of our long term accounts started with.
What is the minimum order?
It varies by line and destination, so we quote rather than publish a single figure. Tell us what you are looking at through the contact page and we will give you specifics.
Can I order a sample before committing?
Yes, and we would encourage it. Buy a small quantity at retail, verify it, and satisfy yourself on quality before placing a volume order.
Will I get lab reports with my order?
Batch specific certificates of analysis are available on request for wholesale orders. Check that the batch code on the report matches the units you receive.
Can I mix lines in one order?
In most cases yes. Mixed orders are usually the sensible approach for a shop covering more than one price tier. Ask when you enquire.
Thinking about shelf mix rather than unit price
The instinct when buying at volume is to optimise for the lowest unit cost. In this category that usually produces a worse shelf. Customers arriving for a specific strain who find only premium disposables will leave, and customers who want a 2 gram device and find only cartridges will do the same.
A working mix carries an entry point, a mainstream option and a premium option, plus the hardware to support whichever needs it. The 1 gram cartridges are the entry point and the repeat purchase. The 2 gram disposables are the mainstream. The Melted Diamonds lines are the premium tier that customers move up to once they trust you. Stocking batteries alongside the cartridges converts a browse into two items rather than one.
Storing stock before it sells
Cartridge oil degrades with heat and light, and stock sitting in a hot back room for a season will reach customers noticeably worse than stock kept cool. Store cases away from direct sun, out of any room that gets warm, and upright rather than flat so oil stays against the wick.
Rotate stock properly. First in, first out is not a formality here: a cartridge that has sat for a year tastes flatter and clogs more readily than a fresh one, and the resulting complaint arrives at your counter rather than ours.
Working with us
Most accounts start small and grow. Ordering a modest first quantity, verifying it, selling through it and then scaling is a better use of your capital than committing heavily to a supplier you have not tested. We would rather build that way than take one large order from someone who never returns.
Training the people behind the counter
The most valuable thing a shop can do with this category is make sure whoever is serving can answer three questions without hesitating: what is the difference between a cartridge and a disposable, what is the difference between distillate and live resin, and how does a customer verify what they bought is real.
Those three cover the overwhelming majority of questions asked at a counter. Staff who can answer them convert browsers, and staff who cannot send customers to look it up elsewhere. The guides on spotting a fake and live resin are written plainly enough to hand to a new employee.
Handling returns and complaints
Two complaints account for most of what comes back: a device that will not draw, and a cartridge that tastes burnt. Neither is usually a faulty product.
A device that will not draw is normally a clogged airway or cold oil, both fixable in a minute at the counter. A burnt taste is almost always a battery running too hot, above the 3.0 volt working range for these oils. Staff who know that will resolve a large share of returns without one, which protects both your margin and your relationship with the customer.
Genuine faults do occur. When they do, the batch code on the unit is what lets us trace it, so record it before the item leaves your hands.
Displaying stock well
Cartridges and disposables sell considerably better when the customer can read the strain name and the size without asking. Face packaging outward, group by format rather than by strain, and keep the premium tier physically separate from the entry tier rather than mixed along one shelf.
Keep a single opened display unit of each format where customers can handle it. The weight and finish of a genuine device is the most persuasive argument available to you against the cheaper counterfeit someone was offered elsewhere, and it costs one unit to make.
Planning reorders
Track what sells rather than what you assumed would. In most shops the 1 gram cartridges turn over two to three times faster than the premium disposables, which means ordering both in equal quantity leaves capital sitting on a shelf.
Build a reorder point per line rather than reordering everything together, and account for lead time so a fast moving line does not run dry while a slow one is still stocked. Talk to us before a promotion so we can hold stock for you rather than you discovering it is unavailable mid campaign.
What a first order usually looks like
Most new accounts start with a mixed case covering the 1 gram cartridges and one disposable line, which is enough to see how each moves on your shelf without committing capital to a guess. Sell through it, note which line ran out first, and build the second order around that rather than around what you expected.
Talking to us directly
Volume buying works better as a conversation than a form. Tell us what you already stock, what your customers ask for that you cannot currently supply, and roughly what you expect to move in a month. We can then tell you which lines fit and which would sit on your shelf, which is more useful to both of us than quoting a price list into the void.
